Rain Rain Go Away...

OMG...it is pouring buckets outside today...YUCK!!
I dont mind a little rain every now and then ..but this is ridiculous! Just dropped my daughter and her friends off at a local shopping mall and HOLY SH*T...it was raining when we left, but the minute I dropped them off it was like a hurricane out there. Glad to be back home; chillin', listenin' to some DEF LEP..."Slang" ( my fav ) and doin some more writing. Been trying to sit down and get to it for days now, but didn't have the time. Feels good to finally sit down at the comp and bang out some more ideas...a little editing too of my previous manuscript as well; have a publisher waiting to re-read it with the changes added. OOH, fingers crossed...maybe this is it...my chance...finally!?!?! Have heard from a few publishers and lots of feedback from editors who really liked it but not as many who want it...but I guess even one offer is a miracle, right? It's such a competitive market out there....I'm really lucky to have gotten the response I have so far....I know that...believe me, I feel REALLY lucky...I still cant believe that I've even heard back from anyone..so this is all very exciting for me. Wish me luck guys...maybe with a bit more hard work and perserverance...I WILL get published....(keeping that positive attitude...LOL)...I WILL...I WILL...its just gonna take time and making the right decisions.
OOh ..almost forgot...kids got their belts promotions last night. They did GREAT...they were awesome!! I'm so proud...I'll post pics soon!!

Have my twin niece & nephews 1st Holy Communion Party tomorrow....then Wrestlemania 21 tomorrow night...Yippee...can't wait...so I'll see you all next week. Hopefully I'll have more interesting stuff to talk about...LOL!!! Have a great weekend everyone :D

Thanks To All My Angels

Hi everyone...just wanted to say "THANK YOU" to all my angels out there to kept Dad in their thoughts and prayers. All went well with his surgery and he is resting comfortably...should be headed out of the hospital in a few days and off to a Rehab. facility to finish recouping and learning to walk with his new hip. So...I just wanted to send my sincere thanks and hugs to all of you for your care and concern...you guys are great!! MUAH :D
Nothing much new around here...
Hubby hurt his hip and back somehow..so he's been in pain and at the chiropractors several times over the past 2 days...he's finally on the mend...Thank God...poor thing was in sooooooooooo much pain. My kiddies have their testing ceremonies tonight in their TaeKwonDo classes for their belt promotions...so that'll be exciting. Then my niece is coming over for dinner and maybe a movie later tonight....her poor little heart is still on the mend over that dumb ass ex-beau of hers...grrrrrrrr!
It's supposed to downpour all day here tomorrow so I guess that blows any outdoor plans for the weekend....but on Sunday...we're buying the Wrestlemania 21 on PayPerView....cant wait !!! Love it ...love it!!! Should be a good one...some great matches are scheduled! I know, I know...don't laugh too hard....Yes, I am a WWE wrestling fan....never miss Monday Night Raw! LOL...so gotta stock up on munchies and treats for the show.
Well...I'm off to take care of some household chores...it never ends, does it? LOL....Hope you all have a great weekend and I'll see you soon!

Who'll Stop The Rain?

Ugh!!! I hate all this rainy weather!! It sucks!! Where's Spring? Where's all the sunshine??
Its so depressing to look out your window and see dark looming clouds and rain...I hate it!!
A few weeks ago I was almost enjoying the snow...it was so pretty. But now that winter is over with...I hate the rain we get inbetween...I WANT THE WARM WEATHER :c
Oh well anyway....It's nearly April and I guess it will get better.
Not much going on here today. Just some laundry and usual household sh*t...thought maybe I'd get around to some writing today, but it's not likely...lol !! It's noon already and I really haven't done much of anything yet and then I have to pick up kids at 3:00...my niece is on her way over to hang out for a few...so that'll be a distraction...not sure if thats a good thing or bad...doesn't matter, I guess. Oh God...I don't know...I'm so not myself today....didn't sleep too well. Then my mother called this morning and gave me all sorts of sh*t I didn't deserve (what else is new) .
Oh....but one thing I did want to mention and ask of you all...my fellow bloggers and LepFanatics: My dearest father-in-law is in the hospital, has been for a week. The poor man fell last week and broke his hip so he's having surgery today to repair (hip replacement)....so I just wanted to ask that, if you all don't mind...would you please keep him in your prayers for me...he needs all the help he can get. His health hasn't been the best for nearly a year now and even this type of surgery is very risky for him....so it would mean a great deal to me if he had some extra angels watching over him and a few more well wishes and prayers...Thanks everyone!!
