Catching Up...finally!!

Hey everybody...I'm finally back and boy,do I have alot of catching up to do!!
On January 9th, I posted my New Years message (a little late, lol) but forgot to post some really meaningful stuff (to me, anyway) that actually should have been posted the week before...SO, I'm gonna post it all now. I guess better late than never...
First off...
In memory of my wonderful father-
My Dad (birth father), Bob, passed away suddenly from a heart attack 3 years ago this past January 7th. Which was terribly heartbreaking for me..we had only connected with one another 5 years prior to his untimely death and were just really starting to get to know one another and spend some time together whenever we could- only to be torn apart, again, but this time forever.
Even though we didn't have enough time...I'm so glad that he got to meet his son-in-law and his grandchildren and finally get to know his only daughter.
I will cherich what memories we had in our short time together for the rest of my life and I will miss him always....I LOVE YOU DAD!!!!


Secondly, and on a much happier note...
On January 8th, (I know what you're all thinking right now, I'll get to that)
My beautiful, incredibly loved daughter Erica celebrated her 15th birthday!!!
We had a special birthday dinner-tacos, her favorite, with 2 of her best friends then had double-death chocolate cake afterwards, which I decorated with the logo from one of her favorite bands...she loved it!!!
I can hardly believe she's growing up so fast...what a gorgeous young woman, eh??? (I'm biased, I know...lol)
Anyway...HAPPY BIRTHDAY HONEY!!!! I LOVE YOU WITH ALL MY HEART!!! Ok and lastly...but certainly not least...I also wanted to post a little something for "Steamin' Steve"...
Our sadly lost, but never-forgotten Lep!!! Steve Maynard Clark passed away 15 years ago on that very same day, January 8th, 1991. Weird, huh???
Erica seems to think she has some cosmic connection to the band and/or Steve...who knows, right? Maybe she'll grow up to be a famous guitarist..stranger things have happened. I mean, she does play once and awhile and when she does, she's really good. But her true passions are singing and art,so we'll see.
Anyway...just didn't want to forget Steve..as if we could, right ladies? And post a little something in his memory...
God Bless You Steve...wherever you are we're sure you're rockin' the oint!!!!
R.I.P.... Ok...I think that just about covers everything...for now...lol! I know that a few weeks have gone by and I still have catching up to do....I'll be back soon with those details. I think this post is long enough for today. I'll pickup where I left off tomorrow.
