Guess who's back....back again...lol

OMG...I can't believe that it's actually been three years since I've posted on here!!! I highly doubt that anyone remembers me but I guess it doens't hurt to try, right?

Well, here I am, three years and three decades worth of sh*t to catch up on..LOL
I honestly dont know where to begin so I'll just say this...Its great to be back...I have alot to fill everyone in on but for now let's just start with live is good, the family is great, my kids are growing up (Erica is now 19 and Alex just became a teenager), added 2 kids to my household (NO...I did not have any more babies-Rick and I have custody of 2 of my nieces), my mother-in-law moved in (No need to say your sorry to hear it-she's a awesome lady), I'm STILL writing and desperately seeking a publisher to get my first novel, "Love Bleeds" out there and into the market...(I have 3 others waiting in the wings) but response has been good so far for "Love Bleeds" (formerly titled "Blood Runs Cold") so fingers crossed everyone!!! If any of you are on Facebook, please check it out and become a fan...I will be posting sample chapters there soon so stay tuned...
Phew, thats alot huh??? I'm so busy these days but I promise to try to keep up with my posting and not abandon everyone again...Hope all my dear friends are doing well...hope to hear from all of you soon...I've missed you!!! I'm sorry that life got in the way for so long!!!

5 MORE HOURS TO GO.....YEAH BABY!!!

Well, this is it!!! Tonights the night!! I'm so excited!!! I can hardly wait!!!We're gonna have a kick ass time at the LEP show tonight!!!
I'm especially excited because my wishes have come true...
First off--my Hubby Rick is going with me!! YIPPEE...I prayed & prayed all week that his workload wouldn't be too bad and that he wouldn't be too stressed out and my dearest wish came true!!!!! Finally, a date night!!
Second--So far so good as far as the weather is concerned..its supposed to be sunny & warm all day. No rain in sight or in the forcast..Thank God!!

So I guess you could say that I'm a pretty lucky lady,huh? I'll post tomorrow and let you all know how the show was. Already saw the boys on "Live w/Regis & Kelly" this morning and they looked and sounded great. What a prelude for tonight! Now I'm really psyched!!

"7 DAYS & COUNTING...."

Well today is Wed. August 8th and I'm counting the days until the 15th...YEAH!!!!! One week from today I'm headed off to the PNC to see our boys LIVE!!! I've been waiting all summer and the day is almost here...finally!! My only hope...well, I really have 2 hopes for that night. ONE...and the most important one is that my Hubby isn't too stressed out and over worked that week because he's supposed to go with me to the show. I'm so excited that he's going with me...not only am I going to see my favorite band perform but I get to do it with my own personal hearthrob....AND we need a date night desperately!!! We've got lawn seats which personally I prefer at this venue cause its so relaxing & romantic to sit there under the stars and watch the show..**Sigh** So fingers crossed for me ladies that Hubby is still up to going next week.

SECOND...and a pretty important wish too, I guess, is that its not as God awful hot & humid as it has been here in Jersey these past few days...HOLY SH*T!!! I'm melting, I swear...LOL.

I hope its a nice cool night...lots of stars...and NO RAIN!!!!

Well...gotta run and finish dinner...see you all soon ( I hope ..where is everybody? Maybe I was gone too long and everyone gave up on me :C )

Does anyone remember me???

Hey all....
Does anyone remember me? I think by now you all must think that I had fallen off the face of the earth...lol
I know I promised quite some time ago (Thanksgiving,actually!) That I'd keep in touch here in Blogland...and I swear that was NO LIE. I had EVERY intention of staying around but right around Christmas my life turned upside down in several major ways.
I will try to elaborate but keep it as brief as I can.
FIRST: We decided to totally and I mean totally re-do our house. You see, since my father-in-law passed away, Mom has been very unhappy with her living arrangements (long story) and was trying for months to move back into the town she had built her life in for some 30+ years. Which is where her and Dad lived and Rick and I live now. Anyway...no luck in finding a house she could afford that was close enough for us to help. SOooooooooooooooo, we thought about it and thought about it and I suggested that we make our house bigger and have her come live with us. So...we are now in the process of making our 3 bedroom two story cape into a full 2 story colonial!! With Mom having 850 square feet on the ground floor to herself...she'll have her own bedroom, livingroom, bathroom and walk in closets. We'll share a huge common area kitchen though...which is really cool since I've never in my 19 years of marriage had a kitchen that wasnt circa 1960s-70s...lol. So we moved our family into a rental house 6 miles away from our's and have been living in a shoe box since mid March.....HELP ME!!!! lmao
SECOND: Once that decision was made...due to some extenuating circumstances of my brother in law's (he's a single dad with 5 kids)...we took temporary guardianship of my 11 yr. old nephew. Which has been pretty interesting to say the least. He's a good kid and he and my son get along great...but man...its alittle more than I expected at times.
But wait...it gets better....lol...
My niece had taken the other 4 remaining girls to live with her and her husband but one night in June...right before school got out...my nephews twin sister decided that she wasn't happy there and needed to live seperate from her older siblings (all girls)..so she asked to join her brother and come live with us.
I, of course in a momentary lapse of sanity...said "sure."
So...here we sit...in a tiny 3 bedroom ranch...with 4 kids, 2 dogs, assorted fish and reptiles.....WHAT WAS I THINKING!?!?!?!?!? and still 2+months to go until our house is finished, God willing.
So...the last several months of my life have been filled with taxing kids all over the state, working, moving, planning and drama, drama, drama!!!
You don't know how many times I've tried to sit down at this damn computer and finally make an entry in my blog...but as you can tell, hopefully, by now...I havent had much time for myself in months. SIGH
I did just want to let you all know, that I'm still alive and kicking (most days) and I have sincerely missed you all.
I have been checking some blogs from time to time(my computer was down for weeks at several points in time ) BRIEFLY, I might add, never having the time to read everything and/or post a message and for that I am truly sorry. I still consider you all my dear friends and hope you missed me too. You were all there for me when I needed you and you prayers and it is my sincerest wish that I can return the favors in the future...I will try to do my best to stick around this time. Cross my heart.
I have to run for now...dinner is calling and the natives are getting restless. (Now I definitely know why hubby and I stopped at 2 kids!!!)...lol
I hope to hear from you all soon....

I hope you all have not forgotten me...I'm almost ashamed of myself for being away so long...(although I have been visiting your blogs when I could :C )
But now that life has finally calmed down (last few months....UGH!!! don't ask) I hope to be returning to my regular blogging...
Needless to say I've missed you all soooooooooooo much...I hope I'm not just a faded memory and you'll all stop by and visit once and awhile. I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to hear from you my friends...

Hey..Long Time No See...

Hey there everyone...sorry its been so long since I've posted...I've missed you!!
Just a little update on things around here:
Its only 4 WEEKS from tomorrow that my Dearest MystKate will be arriving and I"M SO EXCITED!!!!! I can hardly wait!!!!!! I feel like its been so long since I've seen her and I miss her terribly...but I don't have to wait much longer now do I??

Speaking of my dearest LepMate...our tickets for the DEF LEP show at the PNC arrived the other day.....Now I'm doubley excited....I'm counting the days...LMAO!!!!! I still can't believe that our dream is coming true..I really can't. We are definitely two of the luckiest girls in the world!!!
In case you all have been wondering where the hell I've been these past few weeks and why I haven't been leaving comments on my Blog or anyone else's...I'm sorry that I've been so pre-occupied with life that I've been neglecting you, my dear friends. But you see, hubby lost his job a short time ago and we've been working together to set him up in his own business. Which is alot of work in itself. Ontop of that, I started working part-time (9am-2pm) for my friend Cheri, who owns her own flower shop and I work everyday so by the time I get home I have to get the kids off their buses and take care of all the things I didn't get to do during the day ....I'm sure you all know how that is. But I'm a bit out of practice as far as being a "working Mom" is concerned. I'm still getting used to my new schedule so hopefully soon I'll be more organized and have time for myself when I can visit all your Blogs and leave comments on my own.
Please forgive my absence...its not that I dont want to be there for all of you and message one another...its just that I cant' seem to get my ass in gear and make the time. I still love you all and think about you often. I miss reading and commenting so I promise to make the time in the near future.
This past weekend, hubby and the kids and I drove down to St. Augustine, Florida to attend the wedding of hubby's best friend. (pictures to follow as soon as they're downloaded...) Lemme just say...what a trip that was. LOL... We left NJ at 5:00pm on Thurs., arrived in FLA 6:30 pm on Friday...went to the wedding and reception from 5-11 pm on Saturday...then left FLA at 11:00am Sunday and after a brief (ha ha) detour to Myrtle Beach, S.C...we arrived back home in NJ, Monday (yesterday) evening around 6:30pm.
We must have been out of our minds...LMAO!!!!
But Barry and Kara (the bride and groom) were so happy and appreciative that we came down to share in their joyous day that it was worth the trip...but we're exhausted....I could sleep for a week...lol :D
So...needless to say, seeing as I worked today...I still have to unpack and do laundry, etc....so I had better get going for now. I'll try to be back as soon as I can and I promise to check out everyone blog's as well.
