I'M BACK.....
Hi there everyone...am back after a very long week. Been really busy around here between my daughters graduation and Dad still being in the hospital, TKD class and all sorts of other sh*t. What else is new, right?
Well, Dad is doing a bit better these days...he's out of the Intensive Care Unit and looking alot better. BUT...he's extremely depressed. Went up to see him yesterday and I was so sad to see him like that. It def. did not seem like our Dad lying there in his bed. He doesn't smile or respond well to anyone. He's worrying us a bit...he's just so deeply depressed. So..I guess we all just keep praying that his spirits perk up a bit and he re-locates his hope for the future and will to get better & stronger.
So...thanks to my dearest love Kate...I see that you all know it was my birthday yesterday...LOL!! Thank you so much for your love ,friendship and birthday wishes!!! {{hugs}} back to you all. I had a wonderful birthday; which actually started on Sat. night. Hubby took me on a shopping spree at the mall. I swear I felt just like Julia Roberts in "Pretty Woman". It was awesome...i felt so spoiled..it was alot of fun. Hubby picked out some truly gorgeous things for me and we had alot of fun letting him dress me up. I got some really beautiful new clothes, I'm so excited!! Can't wait to wear them all...have started already!!! LOL

Then yesterday...we did some chores around the house together then had a BBQ in our backyard with my mom-in-law and my daughters friend as well. Just a intimate little gathering with the people I love most!! (Minus one certain someone from the UK :C...maybe next year Love...) But it was great!! Hubby took the girls to the store and got me all sorts of good food and a delicious ice cream birthday cake..then he came home and grilled. YUMMY!!
Oh and speaking of presents and thanks...I also want to thank my dearest LepMate Kate..once more, for the wonderful little package she sent me last week. Packed full of little "Leppy" stuff and goodies. You know what I like my dear...{{muah}}...but you spoil me!!!
So...thats whats been goin' on around here...oooh oooh...how could I forget...guess I'm too excited telling you all about my great birthday weekend....
8...only 8 days and counting till the LEPPS!!! Yippee...can hardly wait!! Just hope its nice weather. (Fingers crossed..lol)
Anyway...I had better get going. Weekends over and there's a bunch of housework calling to me. I'll see you all soon...thanks again for all your prayers for Dad (keep 'em coming) and your warm birthday wishes for me (love you all)!!!!

Lisa I'm sooo glad to hear your dad is physically improving, that's such a relief! I really feel for him if he's in a depression, and all I can offer you is more prayers, and just advise you all to give him TONS AND TONS of love right now! Whatever you do, don't let him see how it upsets you, just give him hugs and kisses and smiles.... and hopefully it'll rub off and he'll come around. If it's a chemical/physical thing however, the love will make him feel good but he may need some help from the doctors in the way of meds? I'm no expert believe me, but that's the feelings I am getting on it all. I don't usually just "give advice" where it's not asked for Lisa but I really felt strongly about it, so I hope you don't mind.
Wow your hubby is super and worth hanging on to! LOL I'm so glad you have had a wonderful birthday, you deserve it!
