I'M MELTING!!!
Hi there everyone...God it's hot here! This humidity is killing me...lol
Sorry I haven't been around in awhile...there's been alot of chaos around here lately that's kept me pretty busy and I've been so tired and stressed. All this heat and humidity just seems to be making it worse too...yuck!
My daughter & her friends have been thru the ringer lately and I feel so helpless. One of her friends tried to commit suicide last week and was put in the hospital but she was released the other day. She came over for a visit and went along with us to watch her at TKD class. While we were there she took off and we found ourselves driving all over town after class searching for her. I was a wreck! Her parents finally located her...wandering around with another friend who just happened to be my daugher's "X" boyfriend...yeah I mean the one she was bringing over here the past few weeks. Anyway...the had broken up because he chose to get back with His "X"...OMG...such drama at such a young age!
So...anyway...her parents have had enough and decided to "send her away".
Whatever that means..we are yet to find out. So to say the least, my daughter has been distraught.
On top of all that..my father-in-law has been back in the hospital for over a week now and was doing well until last night. My mother-in-law called my cellphone last night while hubby and I were in TKD class and was extremely distraught and in tears. She came over our house after class and fell apart...the poor woman. I feel so helpless, again, and wish there was something I could do to help her. I suppose just being there with a shoulder and a box of tissues helps but I feel like I should do more. God knows she's always been there for me and more of a mother to me than I've ever known, even in my own family. I just hope that she's feeling better today and is able to hold herself together.
So...please...a message to all my "Angels"...I beg you all to please keep Daddy in your thoughts and prayers once again. All these problems he seems to keep having and the illnesses that plagues his poor tired body are really taking their toll on him. He needs all the prayers and well wishes he can get. THANK YOU...you guys are the best! Muah :D
Well...there's more I could say and fill you in on our adventures around here but I'll save that all for another time...I have so much to do today. Erica's graduation party is this Saturday ( she's graduating from 8th grade into High School)....and I have alot to tend to before then. I have to run out to the stores and pick up some last minute things...get the yard in order...etc, etc...
I hope you are all doing well...look forward to hearing from you soon.
Ooh and on a more personal note...HUGS to our Miss Kate and her Elliott. I know we were all praying for them both and we're so glad that he was found and is at home; safe and sound where he belongs! LOVE TO YOU BOTH MY DEAREST KATE!!!
Phew....ok, I'm off and runnin'...again! LOL

Angels are always on duty Lisa.... you know he is in our prayers again! I hope all works out ok for your daughter's friend ~ give your daughter (and her friend too) a hug from me, will ya?

Gosh, sorry to hear about your daughter and all of the stress lately. I'll bet the trauma with her friend and boyfriend has really got her reeling.
I'm not a mommy, but I can imagine your concern.
